Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for urgent locum coverage in Pennsylvania. This is a busy multispecialty outpatient surgery center requiring anesthesia coverage for both adult (90%) and pediatric (10%) patients.
Key Details
- No call required
- Collaborative anesthesia team environment (not solo)
- Surgery starts at 7:30 AM; most days finish between 3–3:30 PM
- Paper charting
- Supportive and experienced staff
- Procedures include General Surgery, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Plastics, Oculoplastics, ENT, and Pediatric Dental.
- Typical cases: Cataract, Retina, Colonoscopy, T&A, BMT, Plastics, ENT sinus procedures.
- Multiple ORs running with rapid turnover; some longer cases as well.
Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA
- Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted)
- Minimum 1 year experience, all ages
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- DEA not required
