**Assignment Details**
- Start Date: ASAP

- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days or nights; 7-on/7-off rotation
- Setting: NICU + Well-Baby Nursery (night coverage)
- NICU Level: III (16-bed unit)
- Average Patient Census: 8–9/day
- Admissions: 0–2 per shift
- Support: 3 neonatologists, 6 APPs + 1 per diem, NICU RNs, ancillary staff
- C-sections: Attendance required
- Transfers: No (regional Level IV center handles all transports)
- EMR: Epic
- Estimated Credentialing: Standard timeframe

**Requirements**
- NP/PA with NICU experience (Board Certified or equivalent)
- Active New York license
- Must be experienced and comfortable managing patients independently

**Clinical Details**
- Procedures required:
- Ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive)
- Chest tube insertion
- Exchange transfusions
- UAC/UVC placement
- Lumbar puncture
- Central and arterial line placement
- Diagnostic/therapeutic taps
- Management of acute neonatal volume/BP issues
- Coverage includes both NICU patients and well-baby issues during night shifts
- Average consults/admissions: 0–2 per shift

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
