- Coverage Type: Call Only
- Schedule: In-house call, including weekends and holidays
- Call: 20-minute response time
- Call Ratio: 1:8
- Setting: Inpatient (Labor & Delivery)
- EMR: UHS Cerner
- Patients per Shift: 2–4; ~5–7 admissions per shift
- Beds in Department: 15
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- Estimated Credentialing: ~45 days

**Requirements**
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Active Arizona license or IMLC
- NRP required
- Must be comfortable with high-acuity newborn resuscitation and L&D support

**Clinical Details**
- Expected patient volume: 5–7 per shift, including admissions
- Procedures required:
- Neonatal ventilation and resuscitation (neo-puff)
- Intubation (newborn)
- Arterial lines, UVC, UAC
- Conscious sedation
- Circumcision
- X-ray and EKG interpretation
- Preferred skills: lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, chest tube, exchange transfusion, repair of minor lacerations
- Support Staff: 3 RNs on shift

**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
