Northwest Medical Center–Springdale has provided quality healthcare to community residents of Northwest Arkansas for more than 50 years. The 222-bed acute care facility has more than 300 physicians on its medical staff representing a range of medical specialties and subspecialties. 
As part of Northwest Health System, Northwest Medical Center–Springdale is the first hospital in Northwest Arkansas to achieve Chest Pain Center accreditation. Arkansas's first open-heart surgery was performed at Northwest Medical Center–Springdale and this legacy continues today with the region’s most modern interventional cardiac catheterization lab and 3D-imaging capabilities. 
The hospital was the first healthcare provider in Northwest Arkansas to offer da Vinci® robot-assisted, minimally invasive surgery. The Northwest Robotic Surgery Institute specializes in the use of robotics technology for hysterectomies, prostate cancer and kidney related surgeries.
