Opened in 1960 by the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph the Sisters Hospital, St. Joseph Campus has been serving Cheektowaga and Western New York's Eastern Suburbs for more than a half-century. The emergency room at St. Joseph Campus is staffed by a team of certified emergency physicians, physician assistants and nurses whose services are available 24 hours a day. The emergency department, constructed in 2005, features 18 specially-designed private treatment rooms with computer access for bedside registration, as well as a comfortable two-story lobby and an open nurses? station design that allows for greater family access.
