The hospital in Ottawa, Kansas has been serving the Ottawa, community and surrounding area since 1931. In May 2019 the hospital became AdventHealth Ottawa, joining AdventHealth's connected system of care comprised of nearly 50 hospital campuses and hundreds of care sites in diverse markets throughout almost a dozen states; including two stellar facilities in the Kansas City market, AdventHealth South Overland Park and AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. AdventHealth Ottawa is accredited by The Joint Commission and in 2020 was recognized as "Top 20 Rural and Community Hospitals in the Country", "Blue Distinction Center Designation for Quality", and "Kansas Premier High 5 Designation". A few blocks from the hospital the Gollier Building underwent a recent complete transformation and now houses the AdventHealth Ottawa Health Park offering services in behavioral health, express care, family medicine, heart and vascular care, internal medicine, neurology, pediatrics, pulmonology, rheumatology, and sleep medicine.
