PRIMARY PURPOSEResponsible for the development and implementation of big data models and architecture, development of information technology infrastructure and applications system analysis and programming activities for PCCI customers.MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONSEducation:- Must have a Master¿s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field.Experience:- Must have ten years of progressively responsible experience working with software applications, data management, and information technologies.- Must have five years of software design and platform architecture experience.- Must have five years of progressively responsible management experience working with software applications, data management, and information technologies. - Must have five years¿ experience working across diverse industries.Equivalent Education and/or Experience- May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure:- None.Skills or Special Abilities:- Must be able to demonstrate a comprehensive level of knowledge with regard to software design and development across industries that can be translatable and applicable to healthcare. - Must be able to demonstrate expertise in the area of specialty¿s concepts, practices, and procedures. - Must be able to demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills, with regard to software design issues. - Must demonstrate the ability to develop complex software products. - Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of: oIS operational policies, procedures, and standards. oApplication features and their integration capabilities. oApplication and architecture design and development process, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, benefits engineering, software design to fit business needs, application and related reporting builds, installation, testing and validation cycles, evaluation and ongoing management of support operations. oBusiness process analysis and redesign, including benefits engineering.- Must be able to be adaptable to working in different environments.- Must have a strong commitment to customer service.- Must have demonstrated experience developing and implementing `best practice¿ methodologies for application implementations, integration and ongoing support.- Must have demonstrated experience and strong commitment to engineering and performance metrics.- Must have excellent communication skills, for both verbal and written communication with peers, senior personnel, and external contacts. - Must be able to effectively negotiate with vendors and contractors. - Must be able to work with and build consensus among members of multiple disciplines and across organizational boundaries. - Must be able to work as a team player that motivates and educates other team members. - Must be able to set and manage multiple priorities. - Must be able to work effectively onsite at customer sites and integrate within customer teams.
