ERP Security and Configuration Architect

Summary:
The ERP Security and Configurations Architect is responsible for the review, design, build, testing and implementation of ERP custom and delivered security and application configurations, while maintaining segregation of duties and change management standards for Finance, Supply Chain Management and Human Capital Management applications. This position requires a basic understanding of object-oriented programming, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and ERP security and application configuration best practices. As well as a basic understanding of production and non-production cloud-based application architecture, specifically in a Multi-Tenant, Single-Tenant or Hybrid deployment. The ERP Security and Configurations Architect is accountable for providing first and second level end user and application configuration support such as monitoring, troubleshooting, testing, pre and post project deliverables and monthly ERP maintenance efforts. The ERP Security and Configurations Architect will work in coordination with technical and functional subject matter experts to understand business goals and objectives, through cross-functional collaboration and dynamic changes to better support the organization as a whole. Documenting all ERP technical changes will be necessary. As needed, the position will assist with or provide training and guidance to end users. The ERP Security and Configurations Architect must have the ability to troubleshoot with minimal managerial input while providing issue awareness and resolution updates to leadership and end users.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge and technical skills to build, test, implement and maintain custom security classes and custom security roles based on approved security design for ERP and third-party applications.
- Demonstrate knowledge and technical skills to build, test, implement and maintain custom ERP application configurations such as lists, forms, menus, pages, relations and actions based on approved business processes.
- Routinely work with ERP Compliance and Audit Administrators to ensure security design is compliant and assist with quarterly segregation of duties assessments.
- Support Senior and Lead Security and Configuration Architects to implement ERP security strategies and complete security project activities while troubleshooting and using appropriate tools to track and report problem status and escalate in a timely manner.
- Work with cross-functional teams and participate in security and application configuration design sessions to gather business requirements and provide best practices on design.
- Provide security support during design, testing, go-live and post go-live activities while also maintaining daily workload such as ticket resolution, security back up and application configuration DB restores, training and overall end user support.
- Assist with access provisioning and de-provisioning of enterprise users, project team members and test users in production and non-production environments.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Continuously monitor, review, test, validate, and document changes with monthly Critical Updates as it relates to security and application configurations while also reviewing knowledge base articles for relevance.
- Continuously monitor ERP security architecture and application configuration performance in an effort to maintain SLA’s and processing standards by examining ION, ASYNC, Process Sever and Audit Reports.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and support new technologies through e-learning, self-study, and peer training/studies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or designee.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field. One-year related experience in technical application analyses in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, or Information Systems support. Demonstrative knowledge of cloud base computing and relational databases.
