Job Description

Dynamic and financially successful 250 plus provider physician run health system medical practice group, within a market dominant 4 hospital system,  seeks Neurologists to join its expanding Neurology service. General Neurologists and Sub-specialists are invited to inquire.


  • Neurologists are needed for two sites. Your choice of Kingston, or Poughkeepsie, NY
  • Mostly outpatient with some inpatient in Kingston – Join a group of 5
  • Become a key member in developing and growing the new Neuroscience Service Line
  • Practice at a new state-of-the-art digital hospital
  • The health system will be adding a number of Residency programs. You will have an opportunity to teach
  • Neurohospitalist service in Poughkeepsie – Practice 100% outpatient or outpatient/inpatient if desired
  • Strong Neurosurgery and Neuro-interventional Radiology services
  • An outstanding base salary plus potential income through a RVU production bonus compares very favorably to other positions throughout the Northeast and New England
  • A comprehensive benefits package is also included


  • The City of Poughkeepsie, NY is ideally located half way between New York City and Albany
  • It serves as the county seat for Dutchess County, NY and is known as “The Queen City of the Hudson”
  • The ratification of New York took place in Poughkeepsie when the city served as the State Capital of New York in 1788. New York became the eleventh state to enter the new Union. Three of those members to debate and then ratify the United States Constitution included Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and George Clinton
  • The Culinary Institute of America is located in the historic nearby town of Hyde Park. A number of graduates stayed in the Poughkeepsie area and have opened up wonderful restaurants
  • The area is known for a number of art and entertainment institutions including the Bardovan 1869 Opera House which is home to the Hudson Valley Philharmonic
  • There are a number of communities around the area that offer beautiful affordable homes and excellent schools. The area is home to a many excellent colleges and universities
