We’re seeking an experienced Orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint and reconstructive care to join a busy Atlanta practice on a locum tenens basis. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings and can be tailored to clinical shifts, call coverage, or a combination of both. Coverage begins ASAP and is ongoing.
Compensation and benefits are competitive with market rates, and the assignment includes travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
To be considered you should be board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedics (Total Joint/Reconstructive), hold an active Georgia medical license (or be able to obtain one), and bring relevant clinical experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
In this position you will provide comprehensive care for total joint and reconstructive patients—evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of orthopedic conditions. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, participate in perioperative planning and follow-up, and maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
