We’re seeking a Bariatric Surgeon to join a busy Atlanta practice on a locum tenens basis. You’ll work across inpatient and outpatient settings within a hospital, covering clinical shifts and/or call as needed. Start ASAP with ongoing coverage opportunities.
Compensation and benefits are competitive and market-based. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.
What we’re looking for
- Board certified or board eligible in Bariatric Surgery
- Active state medical license
- Relevant clinical experience in bariatric procedures and perioperative care
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
What you’ll do
- Deliver full-spectrum bariatric surgical care, including evaluation, operative management, and postoperative follow-up
- Diagnose and manage surgical conditions related to bariatric patients
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, anesthesia, nutrition, behavioral health, etc.) to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to institutional policies and regulatory requirements
