Required Credentials & Experience
- Active, unrestricted RN and APRN licenses in state of practice
- CNM certification; AMCB certification required
- BLS and NRP current
- 1–2 years recent CNM experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care
- Ability to practice independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care: prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and routine gynecology
- Perform physical exams and order/interpret diagnostic tests
- Manage labor and delivery for low-risk pregnancies; escalate/collaborate with OB/GYN for high-risk or complicated cases
- Counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, and wellness
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to protocols and safety standards
