- 30 hospital beds
- 11 ED beds
- 20k annual ED volume
- 24 hours MD coverage
- 8 hours APC coverage
- Admission rate of 10% Cerner EMR
- 1.7 patients per hour
- Physicians write admission orders
- Trauma goes to UAB, St. Vincent's Main or Birmingham Children's Hospital

St. Vincent’s Chilton is a full-service community hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services, including a 24/7 emergency department, diagnostic imaging, surgery, intensive care, wellness services, lab and gastroenterology services. It also includes advanced imaging and diagnostic services, encompassing x-ray, MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography and bone density. More than 140 people are employed at the hospital.
