Academic Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Carilion Clinic is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join the Section of Cardiology at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a 703-bed Level 1 Trauma and Tertiary Care Center serving more than one million patients across Virginia.

This position offers the opportunity to practice within a nationally recognized, fully integrated cardiovascular network supported by a strong primary care and specialty referral base. The role combines high-quality clinical care with academic teaching and research opportunities at a leading academic medical center.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will join an established and growing cardiology section and provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services. An academic appointment at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is available, with teaching opportunities for medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows. Research opportunities are available through Carilion Clinic and in collaboration with the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute.

Intermittent outreach to hospitals or clinics within 60 minutes of Roanoke is expected.

Qualifications
