Job Opportunity: Physician - Infectious Diseases
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- DEA and BLS certifications required
Shift/Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
Details: As a Physician specializing in Infectious Diseases, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management and care of various populations at [Your Hospital or Clinic Name]. This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Primary Care Patients & HIV+ Individuals:
· Newly diagnosed individuals (within the preceding 6 months)
· Those not on antiretroviral therapy (ART) but meeting current guidelines for treatment
· Individuals on ART with a detectable viral load
· Individuals who have not attended an HIV medical visit in more than 7 months
· Those who have contracted any STI within the past 6 months
2. Other Individuals:
· Acute, chronic, or carriers for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C
· Individuals interested in starting or continuing PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis)
· Individuals in need of PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis)
· Transgender individuals requiring ongoing management, in accordance with specialist treatment plans such as the maintenance of hormonal treatments
· Individuals who are COVID-19 positive, including the management of sequelae such as long-COVID
Responsibilities:
- Oversight and design of seasonal vaccination campaigns (influenza, COVID, etc.)
- Design and implementation of a COVID-19 prevention program for vulnerable populations
