Located in Woodbridge, Virginia, (just SW of Washington, DC), Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 183-bed community hospital with a 40-bed emergency department (ED). This hospital treats approximately 44,000 patients per year in the ED and is currently recognized as a Level III Provisional facility. Clinicians have the opportunity to work 10-hour shifts on an equitable rotation of days, nights and weekends. All physicians are cross-credentialed at a nearby free standing ED's to affords a variety in shift preferences, acuity, volume and the ability to earn extra income.
