Pain Management Physician Needed in Pennsylvania
Provider Requirements:
- Requirements Notes: Anesthesia or Neurology training. Fellowship trained for interventional pain.
- DEA Required
- State Licensure: Pennsylvania
- Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS; PALS
Job / Details:
- Coverage Need Details: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.
- Responsibilities: Provide medical, surgical, and consultative care for patients requiring interventional pain services. Collaboration/supervision/partnership with Advanced Practice Providers (APP). Proficiency in surgical interventions, including radiofrequency ablations, steroid injections, nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulators.
- Shifts: MON-FRI 7:30 AM - 3 PM
- Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
- Privileges Available: Full Privileges; Temp Privileges
- EMR / Charting: Epic
- Providers Typical Day: All OR, no clinic, no call
- Will Candidate Work Solo?: Yes
- Days to Credential: 90
Practice Setup Information:
- Adult Percentage: 100%
- Typical Cases Seen: Chronic pain management patients, typically referred from primary care or orthopedics.
- Procedures: Provider must demonstrate competence in surgical interventions (radiofrequency ablations, steroid injections, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulators).
