**NP/PA Cardiology Opening in Albuquerque, NM**
Seeking an experienced Cardiology NP/PA.
* Inpatient Only
* 2+ years cardiac specific experience required
* APPs consult on patients in the hospital for cardiac care.
* Census varies dependent upon inpatient volume.
* APPs support docs in two hospitals to ensure LOS is not prolonged and testing and care are provided promptly.
* Responsible for incoming calls from outside referring hospitals and providers.
* Join a team of 25 physicians, 9 nurse practitioners, 4 physician assistants, and over 125 support staff members.
* Hospital based position with AM shift and Swing shift with rotating weekend coverage, no call
* Prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases of the cardiovascular system
* Promote heart health and provide rehabilitation to those who've undergone surgery or treatment for heart ailments
