**Pathology Opening in Altoona, PA**
-Full Time & Permanent Position.
We are seeking two Pathologists to join our hospital in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
- Full-time, Employed
- Fellowship training in Cytopathology preferred (not required)
- Must be AP/CP ABMS board certified or eligible
**Highlights**
- Hospital has a surgical pathology volume of over 13,000 Surgical cases and 3,000 non-gynecological cytopathology Specimens.
- Join a team of 2 pathologists
- Specialty pathology consultations and services are available from academic core pathology services in Pittsburgh.
- Night and weekend call are equally shared
- Specialty pathology services provide expertise in all areas necessary, as well as sophisticated services in immunohistochemistry, imaging and molecular Anatomic pathology.
- Visa sponsorship
**Compensation and Benefits**

- Health System serve a primary service area comprised of six counties in central Pennsylvania with a patient population of 350,000 - 400,000.
- Secondary and tertiary service areas for trauma and stroke service lines comprise an 18-county area with a total population of 1,000,000.
- Hospital is a PA Trauma Systems Foundation-accredited Level 2 trauma center, a regional cardiology, cardiac and vascular surgery center, and a regional cancer center.
- Hospital provides endovascular neurology/neuro-intervention and neurosurgery, behavioral health, vascular & wound care, OB care, and pediatric care, and is a JCAHO-Accredited Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center.
