**Inpatient Psychiatry openings in the Phoenix, AZ area**
Locations in Maryvale, AZ - Phoenix 10m and Mesa, AZ - Phoenix 18m
Seeking an inpatient attending Psychiatrists for our adult inpatient program.
* Full-time
* Caseload is 9-11 patients and duties include collaboration with a psychiatric nurse practitioner and teaching of rotating medical students.
* Faculty appointment
* Average length of stay of 22 days, most patients are involuntary
* Outstanding work environment
* Candidates must be Board certified or in the process of Board certification and must possess an Arizona medical license prior to beginning employment.
* Very competitive compensation plan/benefits package
* 4 weeks paid time off
* 1 week CME time off with CME allowance ($4,000)
* 10 paid holidays
* Medical, dental, and vision insurance
* Life insurance, long term disability, AD&D insurance
* 401K plan with up to 6 percent employer match
* Paid medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage
* The ideal candidate must enjoy working with hospitalized, seriously mentally ill patients
Not-for-profit faculty practice plan owned and operated by physicians consisting of more than 400 providers who represent all the major medical and surgical specialties.
