Seeking a BE/BC Trauma Surgeon to join hospital.
Details:
- Full-time role with 14 shifts per month: 12-hour primary in-house coverage, plus 12-hour back-up (rarely called in)
- The acute care surgery team has six advanced practice professionals, with 24-hour APP coverage
- General surgery and emergency medicine residents rotate on the service
- The program participates in TQIP and TQIP collaboratives
- 2,000+ trauma patients in 2021
- Covers all general surgery call for the hospital
- Board certified in General Surgery and fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care
- Have, or be able to obtain, an unrestricted license to practice in Florida - not subject to any restrictions, probationary terms or conditions
- No history of license to practice being revoked, restricted or suspended by any professional licensing agency in any state or jurisdiction
- Have current, unrestricted DEA registration

- 9 ACGME residencies/fellowships including general surgery and emergency medicine
