Locums Emergency Department Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Emergency Department team on a locum basis in Berlin, VT. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine and possess strong clinical skills to provide high-quality care to patients under the supervision of a physician.  The provider will work under the direct supervision of an Emergency Medicine physician.  The patient load is approximately 2 patients per hour.  No call.

Requirements:

• Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) certification with current state licensure in Vermont.
• Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in performing minor emergency procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage.
• Ability to work autonomously and make timely clinical decisions under the supervision of a physician.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts in the Emergency Department, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred.
