Summary:
In addition to the detailed responsibilities and duties listed below it is the expectation of all unit technicians to proactively and positively provide assistance with direct patient care through order entry, communication, and delegation to both internal and external customers. In addition, unit technicians are to always represent the needs of Trinity Mother Frances to the highest level of quality, safety, and service when interacting with patient care.
*Before applying please ensure you can attend that MANDATORY training your first week of employment. The MANDATORY orientation will be held the Monday of your first week from 8am-noon, and 2 hours of class work on a computer in the afternoon to complete before 5pm. You will receive the information the Friday before your start. You are required to attend New Nursing Assistant (unit tech) Orientation Tuesday-Friday, 8am-5pm. If you are a level 2 nursing student or have been a C.N.A/CMA/PCT in a hospital, you may be approved to attend only Monday-Wednesday 8am-5pm. These classes are MANDATORY and held in the Education Building.
Requirements:
- Current Certified Nurse Assistant preferred at hire
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred at hire
- knowledge of EPIC software
- Knowledge of Maxi Move
- BLS- American Heart Association
- HS Education or equivalent required
