Job Description

Parkview Regional Hospital is seeking a Spanish Bilingual  Family Nurse Practitioner to join a busy Rural Health Clinic clinic located adjacent to the hospital in Mexia, Texas. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a broad range of primary care. The ideal candidate will be stepping into a well-established practice that caters to the Hispanic population of the area. Parkview Regional Hospital is a 58-bed acute care facility that serves the residents of Mexia and the surrounding towns.

The Community

Located at the north end of Limestone County, Mexia offers abundant natural beauty with rolling pastures and many lakes and rivers nearby. History lovers will appreciate the rich history of Historic Fort Parker, the site of a legendary battle between the Comanche Indians and settlers in the area.

Mexia Independent School District serves the K-12 education needs for the city, while Mexia is also home to a satellite campus of Navarro College for post-high school education. Additionally, a number of high quality preschools have been established to prepare the community’s youngest population for school.

Being the economic center of the region, Mexia is home to a number of retail chain stores and restaurants, as well as quaint specialty shops and eateries.

With Ft. Parker State Park, the Confederate Reunion Grounds, Lake Mexia and Lake Limestone all nearby, as well as other lakes, rivers and parks, there are plenty of recreational activities for the whole family. Additionally, Mexia is located within a comfortable drive to all of the social, recreational and cultural experiences available in Waco, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Bryan/College Station, Austin and Houston.
