Desktop Administrator IS Support Services/Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY: Primarily responsible for the implementation, deployment, & management of enterprise-wide application software while maintaining device license compliance and security standards. Responsible for the advanced support and operation of infrastructure platforms and associated applications such as Anti-Virus, Power Management, Device Encryption, and Mobile Device Management. Additional responsibilities include organization and coordination of projects that involve multiple device relocations as well as EMR build considerations.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification is preferred.
SKILLS:
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise-wide software application deployment
- Knowledge of Microsoft AD, Microsoft Office, Windows Desktop and Server OS
- Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP
- Ability to maintain good customer relations, ability to explain complex solutions and problems to users (regardless of their technical ability), excellent problem solving and communication skills, good technical writing and documentation skills, all required.
EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and support of Personal Computers in a network environment is required. Two years’ experience in PC configuration, desktop design and software deployment preferred.

General office setting with exposure to computer room environment. Exposure to patient care and ancillary biohazards. Extended video display exposure and use of keyboard.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and transfer objects typically not in excess of 50 lbs. May be required to reach objects typically not in excess of 5 lbs. up to 8 ft. above the floor with the assistance of a step stool. Extended use of video display terminal and keyboard utilizing sound ergonomic principles.
Valid Driver’s license required
