UP Health System – Portage invites Board Certified Advanced Practice Providers to join our Emergency Medicine team in Hancock, MI, nestled in the heart of Michigan’s stunning Upper Peninsula.

NP/PA to be considered

• 216, 8-hour night shifts per year (Mon-Fri, 1pm to 9pm)
• Join a collegial and supportive team of 5 employed ED physicians
• ACS-verified Level III trauma center with an average annual census of around 10,000 patients
• Support Systems:
• ATLS certification
• ED physicians provide basic admin orders for hospitalists from 5pm to 7am
• Hospital EMR: Meditech Magic
• Digital radiology, point-of-care ultrasound, 24/7 on-site CT, MRI available Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm
• Nurse triage process
• Telehealth psychiatrist assistance for psychiatric consultations
• 11 beds inclusive of 8 private rooms and 3 trauma bay beds
