Job Description

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Hospitalist Physician to join our collaborative inpatient care team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive hospital environment while maintaining scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients by managing medical conditions and developing treatment plans
Conduct comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations
Order and interpret diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat medical conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Ensure seamless communication to support optimal patient outcomes
Apply evidence-based practices and remain current with medical advancements and research
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

Board Certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Current medical licensure in the state of Missouri or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Schedule

PRN / As-Needed position
Flexible 12-hour shift scheduling
Day, night, and weekend coverage opportunities available
