The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified/board-eligible physician with a passion for delivering comprehensive eye care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, including but not limited to cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
* Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, LASIK, and other vision correction surgeries.
* Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
* Participate in community outreach and education programs.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
Qualifications:
* MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
* Completion of an ophthalmology residency program.
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
* Valid Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
