Recruiting for a PRN vascular surgeon to provide coverage 3-4 days/month for our HCA employed collaborative team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.Qualified Candidates:
- Must be eligible and ability to be board certified in their specialty within the required timeframe
- New Hampshire licensure or ability to obtain
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration
- Accepting local candidates that can commute to Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire
- Percutaneous and endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial diseases
- Open and surgical bypass procedures for PAD
- Endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm
- Thoracic endovascular aortic aneurysm repair
- Extra-cranial carotid disease
- Venous procedures including VNUS closure procedures a plus
- Proficient with wires and catheters
- 220-bed acute care facility with a Level II Trauma Center
- Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with hospital-based rapid follow-up Stroke Clinic
- 24/7 full-service ER
- 2 freestanding ERs
- 24/7 dedicated inpatient hospitalist program
