Locum Interventional Radiologist Opportunity

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiologists to join our growing team in Pennsylvania. This flexible assignment offers full-time or part-time scheduling, with a minimum availability of one week per month. Physicians will perform a broad range of interventional procedures with weekday clinical coverage and shared call responsibilities in a Level II Trauma Center.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Weeknight Call: 4:30 PM–7:30 AM
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call (7:30 AM–7:30 AM)
• Estimated 20 shifts per month
• 30-minute response time for call

Practice Details

• Perform procedures in IR, CT, and Ultrasound
• No weekend rounding
• No diagnostic readings (covered by contracted radiology group)
• Average call volume is minimal (approximately 2–3 callbacks per week/weekend)
• Procedures performed in IR suite, Cath Lab, CT, Ultrasound, or OR depending on case
• Dedicated IR suite with fixed image intensifier
• IV Team available Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM
• EMR: Epic
• Cerner utilized for some hospital coverage
• PowerScribe voice recognition
• GE Centricity PACS transitioning to Philips Vue PACS

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required (MD or DO)
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania Medical License + DEA + CSR
• Experience: Minimum 1 year post-training
• DEA & CSR: Required
