Seeking a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist.

* Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to the growth and development.
* In this role, you will provide consultation in developing clinic policies, clinic protocols, forms, reports, and records, as well as promote new and enhance existing services.
* The role requires a Medical Degree in Medicine, Completion of Residency program in Pediatrics, Completion of Fellowship program in Pediatric Endocrinology and current or immediate eligibility for Alaska Medical License.

**Responsibilities**

* Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to dietary needs, such as diabetes and obesity
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of endocrine glands and their role in adolescent growth and development
* Analyze records, reports and examination information to monitor patients' condition, progress and treatment
* Collect and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, and exam results
* Provide on-call services as necessary
* Identify serious or specialized illness or injuries and refer patients to the necessary specialist
* Maintain successful working relationships with nurses and other medical facility staff
* Participate in occasional and reasonable amounts of teaching and educational activities
