Job Description
Mercy Health—Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY, is a 379-bed regional referral center serving western Kentucky, southern Illinois, southeast Missouri, and northwest Tennessee. As an award-winning facility, Lourdes offers a broad range of specialties and advanced technologies comparable to larger urban centers. The hospital is a Level III Trauma Center with an open ICU supported by a designated ICU team daily.
Clinical team and practice details
- Typical ADC: 14–15 (±2)
- Hospitalist team composition: 5 physicians per team (3 day hospitalists, 1 intensivist, 1 nocturnist)
- Advanced practice providers: 4 per team (3 day APPs, 1 swing APP)
- Board certification/eligibility: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (BE/BC)
- EMR: Epic
- Employment: W-2 position (J-1 visa accommodated)
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
