Job Description

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is actively hiring a Breast Surgeon to join our established team in Jacksonville, FL. This breast surgeon will join 4 other breast surgeons providing care and treatment in a multi-disciplinary care model.


The successful candidate will have skills and expertise in all aspects of Breast Surgery. Formal fellowship training in Breast Surgery and/or Surgical Oncology is required.


About our Breast Surgery Program

  • There is no general surgery call for our breast surgeons.
  • Shared call schedule with 4 other breast surgeons.
  • 1:1 Advanced Practice Provider support.
  • This is a high-risk breast clinic with a survivorship program.
  • We have EPIC EMR.
  • The program has clinical research support with multiple open clinical trials.
  • This is a multi-disciplinary care model with access to microvascular plastic surgeons with autologous flaps and LYMPH, lympho procedus, and access to plastic surgeons.
  • Our Breast Center is a Commission on Cancer Accredited Program with the American College of Surgeons and NAPBC Support.
  • Shared Breast Oncology OR block time.
  • We have dedicated breast radiologists, we have an NAPBC accredited Breast Center with dedicated breast radiologists.

Requirements

  • Completion of accredited fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology by SSO or ASBS.
  • MD/DO and unrestricted FL medical license.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
  • Experienced physicians and current fellows are encouraged to apply.
