Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neonatologist to join our well-established and collegial practice in Plant City, Florida, part of the vibrant Tampa Bay region.
Practice Highlights:- Primary Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital – a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with a 7-bed Level II NICU
- Optional Rotation: Opportunity to rotate through the 76-bed Level IV NICU at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in Tampa
- Schedule: Daytime rounding with evening call from home
- Support Structure: Night coverage provided by experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
- Team-Based Care: Join a robust team of 16 neonatologists, 5 neonatal hospitalists, and 14 NNPs serving multiple hospitals within the BayCare Health System
- Location Requirement: Must reside within 30 minutes of South Florida Baptist Hospital
- Newly opened in Spring 2024
