PA needed for WI hospital

Job Overview:
A healthcare facility in Portage, WI, is seeking two Advanced Practice Clinicians (NP/PA) with a background in hospital medicine to join our team. The selected candidates will collaborate with a physician to provide high-quality care to hospitalized patients. This role includes admissions, rounding, and ongoing management hospital patients. 

Responsibilities:

• Perform 2-3 admissions per shift and round on 7-9 patients daily.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for hospitalized patients, including those in critical care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Manage ventilators, drips, and other critical interventions (based on scope and experience).
• Perform bedside procedures (if applicable and within scope of practice).

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) 
• Hospitalist, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Acute Care, or Emergency Medicine experience strongly preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills with the ability to work independently under physician support.

• • 7 on, 7 off schedule 
  • 7AM to 7PM shift
  • Also looking for night coverage 7Pm-7AM
