- Schedule:
- Weekdays: 8a–5p onsite, 5p–8a pager call
- Weekends: Sat 8a–Mon 8a call
- Call Details: Beeper call; 15-min phone response, 30-min onsite
- Call Ratio: 1:3
- Call Back %: ~20%
- EMR: Athena & Cerner

**Requirements**
- Board Certified
- Active NC license
- BLS
- Clean record

**Clinical Details**
- Scope: General GI, including emergency endoscopy and inpatient consultations
- Procedures (preferred):
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeder fulguration, injection of varices, PEG
- ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic)
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible/rigid), colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- Support: Nursing and hospital staff (details not specified)
