**Residency Program Director Opening in Indiana**
Located in Valparaiso, IN - One hour from Chicago, IL
Seeking a Program Director for our ACGME accredited Family Medicine Program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for medical education and training residents combined with a strong focus and commitment to ensuring patient care remains a priority.
* Full-time, Hospital-Employed
* We welcome six residents per year into our comprehensive program.
* Approximately 50% administration and 50% clinical.
* Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education is maintained
* Establish strategic direction of the program, its standards, quality, and reputation of the Family Medicine Residency program as followed by faculty and residents.
* Residency program practice management, overall residency operations, and resident oversight.
* Program recruitment, interviews, and selection of residents.
* Recruit and oversee faculty and clinical rotations
* Maintain ongoing clinical activity in Family Medicine, consistent with ACGME guidelines.
* Teach residents through clinical and didactic work.
**Requirements**
* Documented educational and/or administrative experience required
* Board certified in Family Medicine
* Clinically practicing physician
* Experience in graduate medical education required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to effectively deal with a broad range of people and personalities.
