Responsibilities
Join a supportive group of neonatologists and advanced practice providers at Pediatrix® Medical Group in a flexible, family-friendly schedule—while enjoying the vibrant lifestyle of coastal Jacksonville.
Position Highlights:- Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Assistance available
- Shared coverage of two Level II NICUs:
- Orange Park Medical Center – 10-bed NICU
- Memorial Medical Center – 10-bed NICU
- Florida Level II NICUs care for infants born at 30 weeks and above and/or 1250g and above
- Collaborative team of 5 Neonatologists, 1 Pediatrician, and 14 Advanced Practice Providers
- Night and weekend coverage provided by APPs, with neonatologists on-call from home
- Providers also care for normal newborns in partnership with pediatricians
- Work specifically at one of the 2 hospital systems covered by the practice
- Supportive, team-oriented culture with strong hospital partnerships
- Florida’s largest city with nearly 1 million residents
- Mild climate year-round: 60°F in winter, 90°F in summer

- Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatologist
