Medical Oncologist Opportunity - No Call

Opportunity Overview:

We have a client in Illinois that is launching a new Medical Oncology practice and seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing cancer care service line, supported by APPs and a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Schedule & Responsibilities:

• Shifts: Monday–Friday, 12-hour day shifts (7:30 AM start)
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 15
• No call and no weekend coverage required
• Support: In-practice APP support; PRN Oncologist on-site one week/month

Responsibilities include:

• Direct patient care including consults, admissions, and follow-ups
• Hospital rounding as needed
• Coordination with APPs for patient management and orders
• Multidisciplinary care planning with the cancer care team
• Coverage when PRN Oncologist is not on-site

Practice Environment:

• Privileges: Full and Temporary Available
• EMR: EPIC
• Travel & Lodging: Covered – includes airfare, lodging, mileage, rental car)
