**Nephrology opening in OH**
**Located in Portsmouth, 90m to Columbus**
**Full Time**
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Nephrologist to join a well-established, hospital-employed general Nephrology practice. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive 2-year contract and a collaborative work environment.
Contract Benefits:
Paid Time Off (PTO):
29 days annually
Additional 5 PTO days for achieving 75th percentile in wRVUs
CME/Books & Journals:
5 PTO days and up to $5,000 allowance
Deferred Compensation:
457(b) plan (no matching); defer up to $23,500/year pre-tax
Retirement Savings Plan:
403(b) plan; defer up to IRS limits
Employer match: dollar-for-dollar up to 2% of base pay
Relocation Assistance:
$10,000 paid directly to a moving company
Malpractice Coverage:
Claims-made policy: $2M per claim / $6M aggregate
Health Insurance:
Minimal premium, payroll deducted
Non-Compete Clause:
70-mile / 2-year restriction or liquidated damages equal to one year s salary
Call Compensation Program:
Additional earnings through Pay for Call (CERP) Program
Medical School Loan Repayment:
Up to $200,000 ($25,000/year for each year of service)
Residency Stipend:
Up to $25,000 (requires a 2-year service commitment)
Sign-On Bonus:
15% of base salary, up to $100,000 (forgiven over 2 4 years)
Performance Bonuses:
Up to 10% of base salary based on incentives
Practice Details:
Location: Portsmouth, OH (specific address available upon request)
Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM
Call Schedule:
1 in 3 weeks, light onsite call (urgent hemodialysis only)
Consults only, no admissions
Additional call pay available through CERP Program
Team Members:
Three board-certified nephrologists and supporting staff
Facilities:
Outpatient Dialysis: 24-chair unit
Inpatient Dialysis: 6-bed unit
Additional 12-chair unit in Adams County
CRRT in ICU; no transplant services
Typical day: morning rounds, afternoon clinic (8 12 patients)
