Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for on-site coverage in Illinois. This is a short part-time locum opportunity with no call responsibilities and a supportive clinical team.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- Provide onsite daily coverage to support radiation therapy treatments
- Conduct On-Treatment Visits (OTVs) on Wednesday
- Collaborate with radiation therapists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff
- Monitor and assess patients throughout treatment
- No solo work, no call duties, and no inpatient rounding
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
- Active Illinois medical license
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- DEA, BLS, and ACLS required
- Must be available for the full coverage week
