Seeking Site Medical Director for our Neonatal Program in Dothan, AL!!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a Pediatric Neonatologist for our established program at Southeast Health. Southeast Health (SEH) operates as a 420-bed regional referral center, serving approximately 600,000 people throughout its neighboring communities and counties.

Opportunity details:

• Staffing Model: 2 Pediatric Neonatologists
• Flexible week on/week off schedule; Call from home
• Coverage responsibilities include:
  • 6-bed Inpatient Pediatric floor
  • Consults to the ED
  • Newborn couplet care with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
  • No nursery call or rounds. NICU in place
• Pediatric subspecialists include Ortho, Surgery (adult) with the ability to consult with the UAB for other subspecialties
• Engaged hospital leadership and support staff including Peds Pulmonologist, Endocrinologist and Cardiologist with vision for growth in both the immediate/surrounding communities
• Envision also provides Neonatology services (newborns/Level III NICU) - ER staffed and MDs DO and AAP. 20% of visits are children
• Opportunities to partner with local DO school – AL College of Osteopathic Medicine as well as growing GME program at the facility
