**Internal Medicine - HIV Specialist - LGBTQIA + Health in NY**
**Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine**
**Full-Time Position**
Position Overview:
Join a dynamic community health center in Manhattan serving diverse populations, including immigrants and the LGBTQIA+ community. Provide high-quality, compassionate care as part of a collaborative medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver primary care to adult patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
Manage a full patient panel aligned with care and productivity standards.
Provide outpatient HIV management.
Maintain complete and timely medical records and documentation.
Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement efforts.
Supervise and collaborate with clinical support staff.
Participate in rotating after-hours phone triage.
Follow infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completed residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Osteopathic Medicine.
Board Eligible or Board Certified.
Licensed to practice in New York (or eligible).
Experience in HIV/AIDS care required.
Open to candidates transitioning from J-1 to H-1B status.

Additional Info:
Six-month probationary period.
Light physical activity (sitting, talking, using office equipment).
Work Schedule:
Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
One late night (Monday or Thursday, 11:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Saturdays as needed
