**Job Title: Physician Assistant **
**Job Category: Advanced Practice Provider**
**Full-Time, Work Schedule: 7-On / 7-Off**
Summary:
The Assistant Physician practices both independently and in collaboration with healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care across various settings. The role includes responsibilities as a clinician, patient advocate, consultant, and educator. Duties include comprehensive assessments, disease management, and support of quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements care plans within the scope of practice using established protocols
Exercises prescriptive authority and performs procedures, referrals, and treatments in line with state and federal regulations
Participates in the professional development of peers and contributes to clinical leadership
Promotes lifelong learning and continuous quality improvement
Completes assigned goals and other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program
Successful completion of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) exam
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a Physician Assistant role, preferably in a primary care setting
Skills:
Proficient with computers and electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
