**Full Time Position**
An Gynecologist Physician is sought to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a clinical setting, supporting obstetric and gynecological patients across the full spectrum of women s health. The role reports to the Chief Medical Officer and involves both direct patient care and coordination within a multidisciplinary team.
Primary Responsibilities
Direct Patient Care:
Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and perform therapeutic procedures in a gynecological setting.
Perform well-woman exams including pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams.
Provide counseling on safe sex, contraception, and preventive health.
May provide prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care within the scope of facility and malpractice coverage.
Formulate care plans, collaborate with physicians as needed, and ensure timely patient follow-up.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, write prescriptions, and manage referrals.
Respond to urgent clinical findings appropriately.
Address patient questions and concerns with clarity and compassion.
Record Utilization:
Accurately document in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system following best practice workflows.
Maintain complete and timely records of clinical findings and patient progress.
Care Coordination:
Collaborate with specialists and primary care providers.
Make medical diagnoses and coordinate appropriate therapy or referrals.
Involve patients and families in care planning and decision-making.
Organizational Responsibilities:
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team goals.
Maintain confidentiality across all aspects of patient and organizational information.
Stay current through continuing education.
Foster effective teamwork and communication within the practice.
Organizational Expectations:
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Adhere to HIPAA and privacy regulations.
Practice safe and respectful communication and workplace behaviors.
Follow safety protocols consistently.
Employee Engagement:
Actively engage in service excellence and improvement initiatives.
Attend at least 50% of department meetings and review all meeting minutes.
Complete required annual training on time.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to perform light physical tasks (lifting up to 25 lbs., typing, etc.)
Manage stress effectively and communicate clearly in spoken and written form
Proficiency with computer systems and medical documentation tools
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
Education: Medical degree in practice specialty or related field.
Experience: Three years or more as a Physician preferred.
License and Certification: Board Certification commensurate to practice specialty preferred, Licensed by the State of NH as a Physician, Active DEA Registration.
