**Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery**
**Full-Time Position in MI**
Opportunity:
Join a well-established neurosurgery program within a Neuroscience Center of Excellence and an accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated APP eager to grow in the field of neurosurgery alongside a team of highly trained neurosurgeons.
About the Program
Comprehensive neurological and endovascular care
Services include:
o Endovascular interventional procedures
o Open vascular and skull base surgeries
o Acute stroke management
o Aneurysm and AVM treatment
o Minimally invasive to complex spinal surgeries
Key Responsibilities
Assist surgeons before, during, and after surgical procedures
Provide pre- and post-operative patient care
Perform consultations and educate patients on treatment options, risks, and benefits
Order and interpret relevant testing
Participate in outpatient clinic visits and occasional remote clinic travel
One late-night coverage per week and 1 in 5 weekend coverage
Certifications Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA approved
Education & Experience
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered
