We are pleased to offer a unique faculty opportunity for a board-certified Family Medicine physician to serve as a teaching preceptor for our Family Medicine Residency Program s continuity clinic. This position is ideal for a physician passionate about medical education, mentorship, and outpatient primary care.

**Position Overview**
-Full-time, Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
-Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM.
-No call responsibilities.
-Hospital-employed faculty role within SGMC Health's Graduate Medical Education (GME) clinic.
-Serve as a clinical preceptor, supervising and mentoring Family Medicine residents in their continuity clinic.
-Guide residents in evidence-based patient care, professional development, and practice management.
-Work in a collaborative, team-based academic environment with opportunities for scholarly activities.

**Qualifications**
-Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
-Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia.
-A strong interest in teaching and mentoring residents in an academic clinical setting.
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and referring physicians.
-Passionate about quality improvement, evidence-based medicine, and resident education.
-EPIC electronic medical record experience is a plus.
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to fostering a positive and innovative learning environment.
