ER/IM/FM Physician for Emergency Room in Ganado, AZ

Objective:

Our small business is looking for Emergency Room Physicians to help with coverage at Sage Memorial Hospital in Ganado, AZ. The Sage Memorial Hospital primarily serves the needs of the Navajo Tribe. Services include medical and dental, and in-house Pharmacy for patients, it also offers 24/7 Emergency Room and Inpatient Services.

Expected Schedule:

• 12 Hour shifts: 7A-7P; 7P-7A; 9am-9pm and 2pm- 2am. Blocks of 5 shifts or more preferred.

EMR: Meditech Expanse.

Volume: 10k ER visits per year.

Support: two APPs shifts: 9a-9p and 2p-2a.

Requirements:

• MD/DO Diploma from accredited medical school. IMGs welcome to apply, ECFMG certificate mandatory.

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine preferred. FM and IM with previous ER experience (within the last year) are also invited to apply.

• Active, unrestricted Arizona state medical license. We can assist with the license application and fee. You can start with any state license as long as an AZ medical license application is submitted.

• Maintain updated continuing education certificates.

• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS/DEA/ATLS certificates. Current immunizations including TB test.

• Willingness to pass a background check and randomd drug screen(s).

● Interview and examine patients, review past medical history and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make diagnosis for Emergency Room services.
● Prescribe drugs and tests necessary to provide quality health care including the use of radiology and laboratory services.
● Participate in a continual process of quality of health care evaluation to assure the provision of quality services.
● Strive for excellence in providing Emergency Room services.
● Comply with all the infection control and safety procedures, practices, and standards.
● Respect and maintain the basic rights of patients, to include but not limited to personal dignity.
