- 1-2 weeks per month ongoing locum need
- 100% adult inpatient and ICU cardiac cases
- High-acuity Level 1 trauma center
- Collaborative team with 2 physicians and 5 APPs

**Duration**: ASAP - Ongoing
**Coverage Type**: Call Only
**Schedule**: 24-hour call (6a-6a) on weekends and some weekdays; ongoing need

**Clinical Details:**
- Hospital-based setting
- 1-2 admissions, 8-10 ICU patients, 1-2 surgeries per day
- Total 400-bed facility with 12 ICU beds
- EMR: Epic
- Must supervise APPs while on call
- No other thoracic surgeons onsite during coverage
- Trauma Level 1

**Requirements:**
- Board certified in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Active CO license or IMLC
- ACLS and BLS (AHA) certification
- COVID vaccinated
- Able to perform all required procedures
- Clean history
- Case logs and years of cardiac surgery experience required

**Skills Needed:**
- Open CV/thoracic surgery
- CABG (on- and off-pump)
- Valvular repair/replacement
- Aneurysm repair (cardiac and aorto-thoracic)
- ECMO cannulation and stabilization for transfer
- Central line, arterial line, PA catheter, IABP insertion
