**Duration**: July 25, 2025 - Ongoing
**Coverage Type**: Call Only
**Schedule**: 24-hour call (7a to 7a); must be available for all listed dates and ongoing coverage

**Clinical Details:**
- Inpatient surgical coverage across three sites:
- St. Luke s Health Memorial Hospital
- Woodland Heights Medical Center
- The Heart Institute of East Texas
- Primarily ED-referred and elective CV cases
- Required procedures: full-scope CV surgery including vein harvesting
- Average 10 to 15 patients per day
- Support staff: standard hospital/clinic teams; vein harvest PA may be provided depending on volume
- EMRs: Cerner (clinic), Paragon and Mckesson Cardiology (hospital)

- July 25 (5p) to July 26 (7a)
- July 26 (7a) to August 1 (7a)
- Additional dates available and ongoing shifts required

**Requirements:**
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Fellowship in CV surgery
- Active TX license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
- BLS and ACLS (can be completed on site if needed)
- Clean malpractice and licensure history

**Skills Needed:**
- Full-scope cardiothoracic and vascular surgical care
- Independent vein harvesting
- Inpatient consults and ED response
- Comfortable with high-acuity cardiac cases
